Double Scotch came to Budapest for the St Andrew’s Ball Celebrations and really made the evening! Not many of the guests knew how to dance but Chris had everyone up, filling a 100 m2 dance floor. The atmosphere was amazing and we have already booked for next year. I can only imagine how good these boys would be for a wedding. If you are considering a Ceilidh Band don’t look any further, I couldn’t give a higher recommendation than this for a great event!
"We booked Double Scotch for the full day - nothing could really do them justice. What a professional and talented band! The arrangements for the songs and hymns for our ceremony made it so personal. In the evening, Chris got everyone involved and read the room perfectly. We can't praise these guys enough for everything they did for us. When you consider all the money you spend on a wedding, we can honestly say Double Scotch were worth every single penny. They gave us a fantastically personal service with memories to last a lifetime. Thank you!" J&C
"Double Scotch were the most fantastic band from start to finish! They provided music for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. These guys are top musicians and Chris did a superb job of explaining the dances. Everyone was raving about the band. Thanks guys you were brilliant"!
!Double Scotch played at our ceremony and our evening reception at Drumtochty Castle in April 2017. They arranged modern versions of classical pieces we chose for our ceremony, it was seamless and really personal to us, The evening reception was fantastic from start to finish too - the dance floor was packed and they struck the right balance of Ceilidh and disco. Our guests were delighted"
Chris called the ceilidh dances perfectly; enough info to get the beginners involved without taking too much time. Our orcadian strip the willow actually went outside the room because so many wanted to get involved! We would really recommend getting these guys along for your wedding or event, you won't have to worry about your guests having a great night! Thanks again!
